Be sure you have studied the words in Activity 1 and
Activity 2. Once you have completed the
first two activities, choose ten idioms from the idiom list below.

After you have chosen your ten idioms, use those
idioms to write a response to the question below.
Describe a situation where you had certain
expectations that were not realized. In
other words, you thought one thing was going to happen, but something
completely different happened.
