“You can’t judge a book by its
cover.” Yes, many people say this, but
then judge others by the way they look.
A major example would be the mayor of Detroit.
When he first came in to office, he was young and just out of
college. People thought he would make a
great mayor. Unfortunately, within a
year, they discovered he hadn’t yet helped Detroit and was spending money on private
jets, new cars for his family, and other expenses he couldn’t justify. Therefore, you should pay attention to the
phrase, “You can’t judge a book by its cover,” and do some research before you
decide how you view a person.
