Final “S” Reading

The judges who work in DeBross’s courthouse have wives who throw large bashes every month. They open their homes for these parties and invite those DeBross residents with very good jobs and lots of money. When it’s a wife’s turn to host a party, she enlists the other wives as hostesses. These hostesses walk around serving cocktails and snacks such as small quiches or trays of vegetables and sauces. DeBross’s newspaper, The DeBross News, shoots photographs of these bashes and publishes the pictures in the “Who’s Who” section of the paper. The judges seem to love the parties their wives throw. One judge commented, “My wife Liz’s bashes are one of the best bonuses of being married to her. It’s a time for all our friends to have discussions about things other than what happens behind  DeBross’s courthouse doors.”
