ESL 1021
Presentation 1
Reporting on Class Survey Results
Your first presentation will be about sharing survey results you have gathered from your classmates. You will be paired with a partner and given a survey question. You and your partner should ask the question of each member of the class, including each other. As you get responses from class members, write down/tally the responses so that you can put them into a chart or graph for presentation once you have collected all of your responses.
To create a graphic representation of your results, consult pages 11 and 12 of CEE. Also, look at the organizational structure on page 9 of CEE and determine how you will divide your presentation among the two of you. You will each need to do half of the speaking during the presentation.
Survey Topics:
As you survey people in the class, write down any interesting comments they make about the subject you are discussing. You can use these in your speech to make the speech more interesting.
